[Event Report] Professor Sogabe Delivers Talk at G-LAMP Mini-Symposium in South Korea | 曽我部研究室 SogabeLab 国立大学法人電気通信大学│AI 人工知能 量子

On Friday, July 25, 2025, a mini-symposium organized by the G-LAMP was held at Chonnam National University (CNU) in Gwangju, South Korea. Prof. Tomah Sogabe of the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) was invited to deliver a talk at the event.

This mini-symposium was held in conjunction with the signing ceremony of an exchange agreement  between UEC’s Office for International Strategy and CNU’s G-LAMP Research Institute. Prof. Sogabe joined other distinguished speakers including Executive Director Kazuaki Oya, Prof. Shinji Yokokawa, and Prof. Yasuhiro Minami.

In his talk, titled “From Quantum Enhanced AI to AI Leveraged Quantum”, Prof. Sogabe presented an overview of global and domestic trends in quantum technology research and development. He also introduced recent research initiatives from his laboratory, focusing on the integration of quantum computing and artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, the event concluded with a mutual pledge by both institutions to further deepen their academic cooperation and strategic partnership.
